01. GET A QUOTE
Attach photos of your item(s) in the email/Whatsapp.
In order to increase the accuracy of our valuation, please provide images of the item along with any accessories - highlighting areas of wear and tear (if applicable). We will get back to you with an initial estimated price within 24 hours.
Please be aware that we will charge RM 100 per valuation. Refundable upon successful transaction (sale of goods).

02. FILL OUT THE CONSIGNMENT FORM
Please fill out this Consignment Form, add it to the box, and ship your consignments to our office. Click here to view or download our Consignment Agreement.
The price that we offer you will be valid for 20 days from the day of the quotation after which.
The selling price of consigned items is based on an algorithm that takes into consideration the popularity of the style, item condition, estimated time to sell the bag, the age of the bag, among other factors.

03.SHIP YOUR ITEMS
All boxes and contents must be packed securely with sufficient bubble wraps.
On receipt of the item, we will inspect it for authenticity and condition. We will refine the final price, if necessary, and contact you.
*Please note that The Modernist only accepts items being shipped from Malaysia.

04. GET PAID
Get paid within 1-2 business days once your handbag sells. RM 100 valuation fee will be refunded at this stage.

ASSURANCE OF AUTHENTICITY
Please note that we only accept authentic items and we ask that you be certain of an item’s authenticity before sending it to us. Each product we accept is put through a brand-specific authentication process by our team of brand experts. We inspect all applicable leather goods for the appropriate date codes, serial tags and hologram stickers, ensuring that all handbags pass our authenticity tests before they are placed in sales.
If the item is determined to be counterfeit by our in-house experts, it will be destroyed or returned to the owner with advance notice .
